Please describe the reasons for your nomination of the person, club or school for an award Please be as specific as possible and also note that for all awards except the Doug Riden Lifetime Achievement Award, the submitted performance must have been within the year 2021(school year Sept 020-Sept 21). The judges will make their choice solely on the information you provide so please make sure you tell them as much as you can. All valid claims will be subject to ratification.
Awards are open to all, irrespective of whether their Club is affiliated to Havering Sports Council.
Individual sports persons (Junior, Senior Disabled & Volunteer-of-the-Year) may be nominated if belonging to a Havering-based Club, irrespective of their place of residence. Equally a sports person residing in the Borough of Havering, but belonging to a Club elsewhere may also be nominated.
For the Club-of-the-Year, that Club must be based in the London Borough of Havering.
The Doug Riden Lifetime Achievement Award" is open to residents of Havering only, who've given a minimum of 15 years' service to local sport.
Apart from Schools' awards, after winning a category for 2 successive years, winners may not be nominated a 3rd time. They can be nominated again after a year's break.
In 2022, entries close January 10.
