Havering Athletics Club

Club athletes won well over 60 medals, 25 of them gold at the recent Essex Track & Field Championships – one of the club's best ever results.

League fixtures have seen the Eastern Young Athletes Team win their 2nd match to top the table. The Youth Development League U13s & U15s are on course to retain their place as one of the top 6 teams in the south after 2 of the 4 Premier Division fixtures, while the Southern Athletics league senior team won their most recent fixture.

The Club's Masters (M35 age group) team was an excellent 6th in the British Masters Road Relay championship at Sutton Park, Birmingham.

Tom Pitkin (Brunel University) won 400m silver in the British Universities Championships. On the International front Jessica Mitchell took individual gold and led the England team to bronze in the European U20 5k Road Championships in Italy, and Max Law (javelin) and Mayi Hughes (triple jump) gained their first GB U20 vest at the Loughborough International.
